Oxford Brookes developing the UK’s first modern methods of construction course

The first dedicated post-graduate architecture course covering modern methods of construction in the UK is currently being developed by Oxford Brookes University.

The course is planning to be a year of a Part 2 Diploma course and includes a curriculum of modern methods of construction and design for manufacture and assembly. It might also run as a standalone Master of Science degree.

Shahab Resalati, director of the Architectural Engineering Research Group at Oxford Brookes, hopes the course will be ready for September 2020.

Oxford Brookes Graduates

Both of the co-founders and Partners of A’Bear & Ball Architects LLP are proud graduates of Oxford Brookes University. Rob A’Bear graduated in 1998 with Post Graduate Diplomas in both Architecture and Build Resource Studies, and Damon Ball graduated in 2008 with a Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture.

At A’Bear & Ball Architects, we look forward to seeing the development of this new and much needed course for the continuing modernisation of the construction and architecture sector in the UK.
