A’Bear and Ball Architects LLP have just submitted a planning application to South Gloucestershire Council for a sensitive scheme of remodeling and extensions to this remote hillside property located in the Bristol greenbelt in South Gloucestershire.

The property (itself a historic barn converted in the 1970’s)- is proposed to receive a new single storey glazed garden room with fantastic long reaching views over the Severn Valley to Wales beyond. A new glazed first floor balcony above serving the master bedroom will enjoy similar views. A range of other improvements are proposed to the property including re cladding, significant internal remodeling and new landscaping works including the reordering of the external terrace. 

Working within the development constraints of the greenbelt, the new extensions present contemporary and rationalised replacements of existing non original additions at the property.
