This contemporary interpretation of a traditional cottage is nestled in a rural infill plot which was used previously as a car repair yard. This project is our Co-Founder Damon's own self-build and was delivered for just £1000/m2 in 2015.
The design is heavily glazed allowing full advantage to be taken of the views over open fields to the north and west. The limited budget and the requirements of Part L1a of the Building Regulations (Thermal Performance) meant that high performance double glazed units were used throughout with a heavily insulated building fabric elsewhere.
